MicroDrop Aqua offers a new water treatment and delivery concept that utilizes nature's own power to deliver superior quality at affordable prices—through innovative, patented technology.

Historical Background
During a 20 year period, inventor Finn Lebech worked with various projects dealing with water treatment in general and drinking water specifically. The principle behind MicroDrop Aqua systems was developed by Mr. Lebech, who currently is Technical Director and co-owner of the company. The core technology was invented by Mr. Lebech while he worked for FLSmidth & Co, a leading supplier of equipment and services to the global cement and minerals industries. Because of restructuring FLSmidth decided to stop their water treatment activities in 2001 and Mr. Lebech was assigned the rights to the water treatment technology he had developed and left the company to establish his own enterprise.

After a period as a one-man company, MicroDrop Aqua was formally established in January 2005. On the 24th of October in 2007, external investors purchased a majority share of the company.
